Copenhagen Furry Club is a professional organisation composed of responsible, approachable, respectful and open-minded members of the furry fandom.
To ensure there is clarity and no misunderstandings about what kind of behaviour is acceptable at an event hosted by Copenhagen Furry Club, all attendees are expected to follow these rules.
Please make sure that you read and understand them before attending the event. If you have any questions you are welcome to contact us for any clarifications at contact@copenhagenfurryclub.dk.
Copenhagen Furry Club welcomes all individuals with an interest in anthropomorphic animals. However, we reserve the right to deny or revoke your attendance at any time for any reason. In the event of an attendance revocation there will be no refunds for event fees.
Use common sense at all times.
Always follow the directions of event staff.
We do not tolerate harassment of any kind.
Any action or behaviour that causes significant interference with event operations, excessive discomfort to other attendees or adversely affects Copenhagen Furry Club's relationship with its guests, its venues, its partners or the public is forbidden.
Please treat others respectfully.
You are liable for any damage you may cause to the property of another attendee or to property of the venue.
Consent is required for any physical contact, including hugging. Only an explicit unambiguous "Yes" is valid consent ("Yes means yes."). A fursuit is not consent. Harassment of any kind will not be tolerated. If you are asked to leave someone alone, then do so. There is NO discussion.
Copenhagen Furry Club staff may ask any attendee to improve the hygiene of themself or any of their possessions.
Copenhagen Furry Club reserves the right to use camera monitoring of event spaces (including fursuit lounges) and areas rented by the event.
Personal audio systems (e.g., Bluetooth speakers) are not allowed within the event area.
It is not permitted to bring external food or drink into the event spaces.
Attendees may not enter the service areas of the venue or restricted event areas. This includes all backstage areas, service elevators, the rooftops, emergency exits and all areas marked as "Staff Only".
Tampering with any fire-protection devices is prohibited and might result in expulsion and/or fines by the venue. The same goes for disabling smoke detectors or propping fire doors open.
Walking barefoot is not allowed in the event spaces.
Printed items such as posters, flyers, business cards, stickers, signs, QR codes, etc. not from Copenhagen Furry Club must be confined to clearly marked locations designated by the event. Anything found outside of these marked locations will be trashed on sight.
Do not deliberately crack open glow sticks or similar items, e.g. anything containing dyeing, sticky, glitter or corrosive material.
Smoking and vaping (e.g. electronic cigarettes) are not permitted inside the venue. You are responsible for any fees or fines incurred by breaking this rule including cleaning fees or evacuation fines.
Balloons are not permitted in the event area.
Do not leave empty bottles, glasses or other trash behind. Please clean after yourself.
No pets are allowed.
You must be at least 18 years old for the entire time you attend the event.
Copenhagen Furry Club is a private event. Only registered attendees with a valid, official event wristband may enter event spaces. Exceptions might be made by Copenhagen Furry Club.
You are required to wear your event wristband visibly at all times, also when fursuiting, so that you can be identified as an attendee of the event.
Assisting someone to attend Copenhagen Furry Club without their own valid wristband or impersonating another attendee by using their event badge is grounds for expulsion from the event for all parties involved.
You may not impersonate official event roles, communications or announcements.
Changing or covering up identifying information on your wristband may invalidate it.
If you have been expelled, your con wristband may or may not be returned to you after the event.
Keep in mind that fursuiting in public or at an event is a social activity that not only involves the fursuiter themselves, but the audience as well (including photographers and guests).
Your health matters most. If there is a medical emergency or risk thereof, please remove your fursuit as soon as possible, no matter when or where you are. If needed, contact the Copenhagen Furry Club staff.
Poodling is allowed and very much encouraged. It is a great way to stay cool and avoid heat strokes.
The fursuit lounge and headless zones are intended for use by fursuiters. Please respect this and stay out if you are not a fursuiter or a handler.
Treat fursuiters carefully, in order not to damage the fursuit or the person inside of it.
You are the only person responsible for the safe keeping of your fursuit and your belongings. The fursuit lounge and headless lounge are not watched or guarded spaces.
Please keep in mind that your behaviour reflects on the fandom as a whole. All event exclusive areas and event programming are considered to be Safe for General Audiences at all times.

By attending the event, you agree to comply with Danish law and to follow instructions from the organisers, Copenhagen Furry Club staff and venue staff.
The Rules of Conduct will not be debated during the event.
If you have any problem with an action taken by a staff member during the event, please contact the Copenhagen Furry Club chairman at chairman@copenhagenfurryclub.dk.
Copenhagen Furry Club staff reserves the right to impose any and all sanctions on attendees who violate these rules. Sanctions for violating the rules may range from a friendly reminder to a permanent ban from the events hosted by Copenhagen Furry Club.
